What time is it? Hurry up! We are out of time!
When is dinner? I wish I had more time.

These sentences are said every day. We spent a lot of time thinking and worrying about time! In this unit of you will examine time. You will start by learning about how to measure time, different time zones, the history of time.
Then you will then learn about time management skills. As a final project, you will create a presentation in PowerPoint about how to manage their time. All along the unit you will be asked to blog your answers to questions about time.

Hurry up! It's time to get started!

What is the hardest thing for you to wait for?

Is it Christmas, your birthday, your aunt coming to visit, or something else?

  1. It is hard for me to wait for any day that I have bought a gift for. As soon as I buy something, especially for my wife, I want to give it.

  2. Me too Jason! In fact when I was little my parents never told me what they bought each other because I would often spill the beans!

It's hard for me to wait for new information. Example: I am moving to a new apartment soon but I have no clue where...I hate not know what I will be doing. I have to have things laid out and organized quickly.

  3. I'm not sure about the hardest thing, but I hate waiting for my wife and daughters to get ready to go somewhere. We call our youngest Slow-Mo Zo.

  4. Since my daughters are growing up so fast and soon will be going off to college, I really want time to stop. But to answer the question, it's hardest I think waiting for my youngest daughter to get ready to go somewhere.

  5. The hardest thing for me to wait for is the exchange of ideas. I want interactive stimulation and I want it now! When teaching a lesson, I have learned to give wait time when seeking student responses to a question. It is frustrating wanting a dialogue to occur and having to wait on the other person to formulate thought, express an opinion, and, basically, contribute.

  6. My hardest day to wait for is Halloween. I love this holiday. At my age, I don't want to see the Birdthday coming and without little kids at home anymore, Christmas isn't tha much fun.
