What time is it? Hurry up! We are out of time!
When is dinner? I wish I had more time.

These sentences are said every day. We spent a lot of time thinking and worrying about time! In this unit of you will examine time. You will start by learning about how to measure time, different time zones, the history of time.
Then you will then learn about time management skills. As a final project, you will create a presentation in PowerPoint about how to manage their time. All along the unit you will be asked to blog your answers to questions about time.

Hurry up! It's time to get started!

What is your favorite way to tell time?

Do you use a watch, clock, your cell phone, or ask your mom?

  6. I prefer to tell time based on my perception of passage of time. I have developed an uncanny skill of knowing what time it is--or rather how much time has passed. I do not wear a wristwatch, but I do check the cell phone, the display on the car radio, various clocks that are available, preferably an atomic clock.

Seriously, though, I do seem to have somewhat of an internal clock, too.
